Activities and Excursions:
Taos is well-known for its artistic and cultural offerings. It is also a historic center. The community serves over a million tourists a year (with a yearly resident population of about 5500). The Taos Pueblo, the Carson National Forest, the Ski Valley, the museums, the art-galleries, the plethora of concerts, dance and theatre performances, all help to attract needed tourist income that allows Taos to survive as a center for cultural activity.

You will have numerous hours each day to sight-see, hike, bicycle, visit museums and galleries and attend performances.

A suggested schedule:
7:00am: breakfast
8:00-10:00 lesson
10:00-1:00 practice
1:00-2:30 lunch
2:30-6:00 hike, relax, visit
6:00-7:30 dinner
7:30- concerts, performances
